2nd General Meeting within TALENT Project 2018-2021
10-12 September 2019 within the project TALENT Erasmus+ at Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Business was conducted the Third General Project Meeting in Nur-Sultan city, Kazakhstan.
The purpose of the meeting was the discussion of the preparation progress of Master program in Human Resource Management within 6 Central Asian universities (Nazarbaev University, Innovative Euroasian University, Westminster International University in Tashkent, Bukhara State University, American University in Central Asia and Kyrgyz Economic University).
The first day started by the welcome speech from Nazarbayev University and Graduate School of Business’ leadership: Dean Dr. Duparcq, Vice Provost NU Loretta O’Donnel, Vice-President for Student Affairs and International Cooperation Kadisha Dairova and the director of National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan Dr. Shaizada Tasbulatova.
During the project meeting Coordinators of the project discussed the monitoring report by EACEA with further recommendations for the CA partner universities.
Each CA university has presented detailed overview on the accreditation process for Master program in HRM according to the local conditions and regulations.
Team leaders of the workgroups briefly presented the final syllabi. On the meeting Carlos Machado, as an external evaluator explained the project quality assessment activities.
Moreover Nazarbaev University conducted workshop focused on the topic of «Issues and challenges in HRM» with guest lectures from partner universities and practitioners from Kazakhstan.
The evening was followed by the dinner at Ritz Carlton Astana, where the participants were honored to meet with the Mr. Shigeo Katsu, the President of Nazarbayev University.
The final day, coordinators of the project has indicated the plans for 1 year with detailed timelines and goals to be reached during this period.
